In his spare time, he gave drawing lessons to children between the ages of 6 and 12 for 10 years, from 1999 to 2009. He researched the visual development of these children and developed various didactic approaches in providing visual education to children. He brought this knowledge back to the students at the pedagogical academy and at the university where he worked. He discovers that there is no such thing as teaching children how to draw, but that he does guide children in their visual development. He did this by offering them various materials. The material should be seen as a visual problem solving. In short, as a visual teacher you are a supervisor for these children. Their world of experience is central.
