I started painting at the age of 13, and at the age of 21 I went to Holland to study art. When I finished I returned home as an art teacher, and worked for 10 years as acting director of the Academy of Arts, and I worked as a lecturer at the Pedagogical Academy and the University of Curaçao. In 2016 I retired.
Currently I have more time to dedicate to visual arts and make rustic furniture, which you see in the apartments. The apartments are in themselves a gallery where tourists can enjoy my works, and I am also currently working on an art garden around the apartments. Every time a tourist visits my gallery/apartment he will encounter changes.
